The World Bank provided the loan (USD 50.21 million) to the Government of Ukraine for implementation of “Social Investment Fund” Project for the period 2002 - 2008.

Government of Federal Republic of Germany through KfW Development Bank provided two grants (EUR 7.0 mln. and 5.0 mln.) for rehabilitation of social and communal facilities in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts (2008 – 2010) and AR of Crimea (2009 – 2012).

Japanese Government provided USIF three grants:

  • USD 250 000 and USD 266 000 grants for strategy development and human resources on preparation stage of large-scale “Social Investment Fund” Project for 2000 – 2002 period;
  • USD 1,711,500 for capacity building of poorest communities by way of implementation of large-scale program on providing training and consulting services, organizing trainings and wide information support in 2005 - 2008.

Swedish Agency for International Development Cooperation (SIDA) provided USIF two grants:

  • USD 1 million as technical assistance for capacity building of social care service providers (2006 – 2010);
  • USD 10 000 for participation of USIF specialists and USIF Supervising Board at international conference on social care services development on community level (2000).

UK Department for International Development (DFID) provided USD 1 million for implementation of pilot stage of “Social Investment Fund” Project in 2001 – 2004.

Charles Stewart Mott Foundation awarded USIF USD 90 000 grant for information campaign within pilot stage of “Social Investment Fund” Project for 2001 – 2004 period.

International Renaissance Foundation (IRF) provided USD 12 300 grant for training of USIF key staff and elaboration of effective mechanism for implementation of social investment.

United Nations Development Program (UNDP) awarded USD 20 000 for study tour of USIF specialists to Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania to learn local social investment funds experience. (2000).

Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) provided USD 13 000 for NGOs support and consultative service in Khmelnitskyi oblast.
